However, she only was on stage in the event of an assault by Nikki and Naomi. Then she was able to play Naomi in the Battleground ceremony prior to the event. Ariana won the battle against Naomi at the time of that match. In the end, this caused their rivalry. They fought several tag-teams as well as handicap matches during the summer.
