D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. Following his fame-making roles on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow He appeared in more 20 feature films, including The Core. Also, he's appeared on 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order among others. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled this disease since. After two years of treatment, his cancer went into remission. Being treated at such a young age had an adverse effect on his body. This impeded his growth. When he started taking on the role of an actor, financial security was his goal. He had experienced poverty in his childhood. Interviewer stated that as the way he lived was so shabby for such a long time I required the financial security to feel confident and secure. He thinks back to his youth and feels the desire to act against bullies. He is a victim of cruelty and hurts him to the core. The perfect DJ role is that of a real-life father. Yet he confesses "Directors do not cast me in those roles." Someday he would love to become a father in the future, when he could be able to spend more time to his work and more to his child.
